Here's a picture of me surfing from last year that my wife Dawn took from the beach. I've been surfing (or trying to surf) since I was about 10 years old and in all that time no one has ever captured a picture of me doing anything that even remotely looked like surfing. Falling, yes. Flailing, wobbling, stooping, but never surfing. So this picture is pretty special to me. I wouldn't get any points for style, but hey, at least I'm not falling yet. It's even more special that my wife cared enough to take the picture.
